TRAFALGAR SQUARE THIS SUNDAY . BE THERE !

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

TRAFALGAR SQUARE THIS SUNDAY . BE THERE !

Postby miltiades » Wed Jul 15, 2009 10:59 pm

Thousands of Cypriots live in the UK . Each year the number attending the July 20th procession decreases , a commemorative day that ought to be attended by each and every Cypriot in London if not in the UK .
Many find it difficult to travel for one reason or another , some are busy with their work and some frankly could not be bothered. Yet some of us make the effort , come rain or shine , as we have done over the last 35 years or so that a part of our beloved Cyprus has been under the Turkish occupation. Moderates such as my self , also my brother who is 70 years of age make an effort every year to attend. I have postponed my planed trip to Cyprus this Friday on remembering that Sunday has a special chord in my heart , joining forces with men women and children lending our support to the event attended year on year by many British MPS and ex MPS , not least a dear friend of mine Tom Cox.
Let us attend , let us be seen as determined Cypriots , not Greeks but Cypriots , demanding what is rightfully ours , the island of Cyprus.
Moderates are there every year , also there are bloody foreign flags repressenting the very people who invited so much misery to our people , G/Cs and T/Cs. Greek flags have no place , yet they are always there , but this little bastard Milti reprimands them every year and lets them know that our nation , our country is CYPRUS .
BE THERE ON SUNDAY ..

I will not be able to make the meeting at Trafalgar Square but I will be at Victoria Square marching for the Freedom of My Homeland, which Turkey is occupying and some TC's are contributing to the violations of my human rights and that of all other peace loving Cypriots

A man , or two , standing or marching on their own , have as much right to justice and freedom as a million of other humans . My brother and I have attended from year one missing very few due to circumstances. We are both old timers but young at heart when it comes to the love of our life , the island of Cyprus ..
Never has either of us lost sight of our homeland , both married English women with children whose mother tongue is English , but the two of us have remained steadfastly 100% Cypriots and fighters for justice and peace in our beloved island. Both have as our last wish a tiny corner in Cyprus as our resting place.

I call people like you diluted GCs or TCs who have become more and more British than they wish to accept, this is reflected in your outlook which is far from taking in the realities and dangers that you would have us accept. You want us to jump into the fire of GC domination and discriminaiton which we will never do those days are over.
