To me this seems an inseparable issue. You cannot have one without the other. Yet they call themselves Cypriot, it is oviously aimed at the Greek speaking population to the exclusion of the others.

Then perhaps I have missed something.

Good Luck Milti. my friend and farewell CF.

Deniz , look at the below , it does say all Cypriots .

""""free from Turkish occupation troops and illegal colonists, for the benefit of all Cypriots. ""
The Cypriot brotherhood has many UK T/Cs supporting its aims.

Milti, the Federation has made some progress but needs to go a lot further...

Very good.

It can spend its whole time trying to get a London TC shop-keeper to talk to a GC shop-keeper and forget all about lobbying Politicians to help remove the Turkish troops!

Focus folks, focus!

What are you talking about?

There are plenty of TCs in London who want the troops out. Plenty. Think how much more powerful that lobbying would be if they did so under one umbrella; which is what the Federation is supposed to be. It's you who's not focused.

Please encourage all your TC friends to do so also... The Federation, from what I can gather, is open to knew ideas since the new guy took over. Progressive TCs need to push for more representation, as this will make lobbying far more effective in the UK. And this strengthens Christofias's hand

What is the equivalent tissy group to the Fed here in GB. The only ones I know are Atca and that seemingly dodgy lot over at Embagoed?

Deniz, the winning post is in sight for both comms mate. Don't go quitting on us now, you hear?

Milti,
I Know of one group of 'Cypriots' which do encompass the Cypriots in its entirety. C4C. Maybe it is not political. Its the group young xxNilXX belongs to, Where GCs and TCs get together for all occasions. If a mention was made of them in there members list, I would give the Federation some credibilty.

To the Cypriot: Why should I make the move. If the federation meant 'ALL' Cypriots, this would be addressed. It could have been emphsized and have more credibility. As you say, there are TCs who will want the Turkish Army out, but at the mo, they will feel let down as I do.

Forgive the interuption but I agree with D. The Fed should make the first move, if there hasn't been contact already.

Heaven knows if the GB CYs, who have a long history of peaceful coexistence and cooperation can't find common ground .....

C4C were invited. But if C4C were to join the Federation they would, as things stand presently, lose credibility.

Some moves have been made by the Fed. But not enough, in my opinion. There are some 'members' of the Federation that make life difficult. The leadership needs to show more leadership, I agree. More pressure from progressive TCs needs to be brought to bear for this to happen, in my opinion.

I agree. Tell them! Keep telling them. For that's how things will change. And things have changed already, due to pressure already brought to bear...

Moves have been made. Contact has been made. More moves and more contacts are needed.

Tell them too, Bill! The logic is irrefutable. The more they're told, the more they'll have to listen!

Why shouldn’t they see it that way Umit?

The RoC has the economy and the infrastructure to take care of another 100,000 people and quickly fix up her occupied territory to bring it up to scratch with the rest of the island within 2-3 years I’d say.

If a better standard of living is the name of the game then the RoC is the man for the job but if a handful of bankrupt Turkish Cypriots also want to play “power games” at everyone else’s expense, then Turkey is their man!
