You complete madman! ... You are not the organiser of this march so stop driving people away with your stupid remarks and rules.

If my Greek cousins wanted to come and support their ally Cyprus, on this march, and they waved Greek flags ... are you going to f-ing turn them away?

If my French neighbours decide to come and show support for the Cypriot cause, and they waved the French flag, are you going to f-ing turn them away?

Stay in your shop tinker-man and sell your pots and pans to your Turkish friends, and pray with your Muslim neighbours to show your solidarity with them -- and stop driving away the allies of Cyprus with your childish 'Greeks are not in my gang' nonsense.

More rubbish from you Oracle , you are getting quite neurotic lately with your outbursts.
Let me see if I can make it easy for you to follow.
What we are telling the whole world , our RoC as well as the UK and other Cypriot brotherhoods worldwide , is that there is no such entity as Greek Cyprus , as Turkey promotes , or Turkish Cyprus , as Turkey promotes.
To the entire world the message that we are sending is that there is but one Cyprus and a part of it is under the occupation of the Turkish army.
We are not , and never have done , denying that the T/Cs are an integral part of Cyprus and as such their concerns do matter.
Having Greek flags sends a clear message to the T/Cs , that is that we the G/Cs consider our island not independent but a part of Greece , therefore the T/Cs are unlikely to voice their opposition to the Turkish troops being stationed in the northern part of Cyprus.
The message that we are relaying to the world is that Cyprus , an INDEPENDENT nation member of the UN and of the EU HAS A LARGE PART OF IT UNDER THE OCCUPATION OF TURKEY.

As far as your French neighbours attending the march waving French flags , may I say what a stupid assumption to make .
As for your other nonsense regarding my selling pots and pans to T/Cs may I also say what a stupid and rather childish statement to make.
The fact of the matter is that neither you nor the other destructive to Cyprus pseudo patriots have any intention of supporting the march , simply my dear you don't give a monkeys any more than Greece gave in 1964 or 1974 .
Here it is again , it refers to Cyprus not Greece.

The National Federation of Cypriots in the United Kingdom is the representative body and the acknowledged voice of the largest and most significant community of Cypriots outside of the island itself.

It is an umbrella organisation representing the Cypriot community associations and groups across the United Kingdom and, as such, it leads and co-ordinates the activities of more than 300,000 Britons of Cypriot origin.

As the foremost representative body of UK Cypriots, the Federation performs a two-fold role. Firstly, it spearheads the British Cypriot community's efforts to promote the cause of a reunited Cyprus, free from Turkish occupation troops and illegal colonists, for the benefit of all Cypriots. Secondly, it coordinates the work of UK Cypriots in the political, social, cultural and educational spheres and lobbies for and articulates the interests and concerns of the Cypriot community in the United Kingdom.

In pursuing its objectives, the Federation co-operates closely with the democratically elected President and the Government of the Republic of Cyprus. It also fosters close links with the British Government, the leadership of British political parties, British parliamentarians, civic and community leaders, ethnic minorities, the mass media and other relevant institutions in the United Kingdom.

The Federation was founded immediately after the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974. It functions under a President, an Executive and a Secretariat elected every two years and is headquartered in North London

How disappointing to read from the link provided, the aims of these demo's amd marches in support of re-unification. It seems that the organisers are only interested in re-uniting the island and no mention is made or re-uniting the people. This seems anathema to the organisers. To me this seems an inseparable issue. You cannot have one without the other. Yet they call themselves Cypriot, it is oviously aimed at the Greek speaking population to the exclusion of the others.

Then perhaps I have missed something.

Good Luck Milti. my friend and farewell CF.

I think you should make your points directly to them as I believe the Federation still has further to go in this regard:

Isn't that alway's the case Deniz, many GC's just see the solution as Turkish Troop's sodding off and nothing more.

Listen you miserable pseudo-turkophile ... the blue and white "foreign" flags are going to be the ONLY "foreign" flags you are likely to see supporting this march on Sunday so shut up and show some appreciation for the only true "foreign" ally this country will ever have supporting it!

From memory not only that but after the closing speeches, the GREEK NATIONAL ANTHEM is sung !

There is no Green Line in the UK preventing Cypriots from working together. I believe deniz has a valid argument. The UK Federation has made some progress. It needs to go further. But that requires people like you and deniz to challenge the Federation and express your concerns; not moaning from the side lines.

Deniz , look at the below , it does say all Cypriots .

""""free from Turkish occupation troops and illegal colonists, for the benefit of all Cypriots. ""
The Cypriot brotherhood has many UK T/Cs supporting its aims.
