Isn't this rather narrow-minded and utterly irresponsible ideology that caused so much conflict in our country.
Why should Halil get out of our country when it also happens to be his country. At least , if I'm not mistaken , this is what the RoC and every other responsible Cypriot organization says, that the T/Cs are part of Cyprus and have every right to be on this island. Are you confusing Halil with the settlers perhaps ?

Halil is a Turk, isn't he?

He certainly preaches for the occupiers ... and PRAISES them and their displays of military power!

What more do you need as proof ... he is a Turk!

Where was the justification for this?

Let's stop this tit-for-tat because you and I really have no quarrel ... just frustration as to the elusive detail for getting rid of the devil!

Fine, but the devil is in the detail.

Halil I do not deny that there are extreme views now just as extreme views were abundant , in both of our communities, way back in the conflict years. There are however fundamental differences today that 50 years ago. The RoC , not faultless by any means , has followed strictly its stated policy that all Cypriots are Cypriots and all are entitled to call this island their homeland. Bear in mind that there are some 60 thousand or so RoC passports held by T/Cs .
I have stated many times that I know very few Cypriots who do not subscribe to the view that Cyprus belongs to us all , and many express identical views , if only we Cypriots could sit down without foreign influences and discuss our problem a solution would be agreed up in no time.
Oracle's views are her own , they are not by any stretch of the imagination either the views of the RoC or the majority of the G/Cs.

You are a very small minority and your utopian views will lead TCs into the dangers of the past, be careful as you will regret pushing them into the dark pitt of GC mindset.

The Gc mindset is still the same as it was in the 1950s, that why I always say placing a saddle on a donkey doesnt make it a race horse.

And you base your conclusion on what? The antics of two or three hot-heads on this forum who should think before they post? Who are angry and frustrated and are venting their spleen because of the continued injustice to their homeland?

No but constantly goading a donkey makes it kick! And that's what Cypriots on both sides have been doing to each other. And Turkey encourages it in the north, with its flags, and displays and celebrations, and mosques and statues of Atatataturk and destruction of Cypriot heritage... and you just go along with it.

I know my dear ... that's why I played on that in the last bit

Maybe I am quickest on the uptake, sharpest for trouble ... and you are the innocent, naive, romantic one ... So let's join forces; you as the "good guy" and me as the "bad guy" ... but don't jump-in taking things personally, when I am being mean to some nasty occupying Turk....
