It's better to be called Turks and invaders rather than having been exterminated by sick followers of Enosis, Greek Junta etc...

Peace and freedom are the most precious elements of life and TC's now have the freedom, no matter they are slaves to Turkey they DO have peace in their land...

Freedom cannot be acquired through stealing!

OMG, I unfortunately missed this part. All nations, throughout the world's history, have shed blood for freedom. What are you talking about? Stealing??

I think you are struggling to comprehend ...

I'm sorry but if they are slaves to Turkey they are not free.

Yes, they have peace, as the slaves in ancient Rome had peace serving their masters... before joining Spartacus's slave army to fight for the freedom they yearned for more than peace.

They are more free than Turkish citizens with no doubt!

Sure, and big deal  ... since it's a matter of relativity. But the context of the discussion was that Turkey is not considered civilised enough to be in the EU!

Agreed?

This may be true, but they are Cypriot and EU citizens. And compared to their fellow countrymen in the south, they are, as you say, slaves.

I don't think it really bothers them. They must be happy with what they have, otherwise they would have asked the Turkish Army to leave by now. ;)

Slave was your word, not mine. A slave doesn't ask his master to unlock his chains. He fights for that to happen. And that takes balls, like Spartacus had.

I am not swayed by flattery and compliments ... 8)

Anyhow, I was referring to your comment regarding the TCs having freedom. Surely you cannot acquire freedom through stealing? (Which is what they have done with the north).

Comprenez-vous ?

Ok, well in my opinion it's true however it's wrong to call a nation uncivilized just because of the majority. There are really nice and civilized people in Turkey. I am thinking to visit the South; perhaps a one month vacation, soon. Fortunately I can then compare you with a civilized nation and have my own ideas

If there is no other way, stealing seems a good option. Forget the TC's now. I want to see you, do you have msn? LOL :P
