Well 30 years is enough to "Cypriofy" a whole generation.

I'm not fond of the Eastern "Turks" raiding this beautiful island with their Islamic crap, but separating who needs to go and who stays is a very delicate process.

I don't agree cos it's simple - married to a tissy and offspring of such a marriage automatically stay.

Everyone else is there contrary to Geneva and will have to puss off at Jurkey's expense pending results of due application to the post-settlement federal government.

The above is (put simply) how it works in the rest of the world.

Simples.

In many countries you are born there you are a citizen.

Other countries you have blood connection you are a citizen.

RoC however, neither is accepted and follow different and weird rules.

THAT IS how it works here!

Shah, if you are right then I must condemn the Roc and I assure you I don't have a problem condemning it or any other gov when they're wrong.

I would however wait for expert confirmation or otherwise to back up or refute what you say.

Bill, we had this discussion in the General section under a thread about RoC citizenship.

We have concluded that the RoC follows Annex D laws which don't seem to follow the usual ways found in other countries, this is my understanding.

I have not managed to find the full version of the laws.

But I can tell you that I know of people who are born and raised Cypriots with Cypriot mothers BUT Turkish fathers and they are in their 30's now, these people have been refused RoC citizenship.

Technically these people will have no nationality in the case of a solution that is acceptable to the RoC.

Tough ... they have to go through the same procedures as my son who has a Scottish father ... and Scotland is in the EU ... unlike racist scumbag Turkish colonist settlers!

It's pretty funny that you call them racist! What does that make you? A double racist scumbag?

Don't worry though, with a "racist scumbag" state as the RoC, you will not have any problems getting a citizenship.

Why am I racist for wanting the segregation to end?

Because I want the invading Turks yo go back to Turkey? Is that what you claim makes one "racist"?

I don't think anyone or anything "makes" you racist.

You are just twisted and ill minded, that's what makes you racist.

Don't try to blame your sick ways on others madam, that's just cowardly ;)
