“Turkey as a candidate country, cannot put forward terms and preconditions in order to meet its commitments towards the Union,” Kyprianou said.
The Foreign Minister stressed that Turkey has undertaken a commitment to implement the Customs Union agreement and the additional Protocol, which call on Ankara to open its ports and airports to Cyprus flag ships and aircraft.

If the EU does not keep its word then why shoudl Turkey? the credibility of the EU is very questional upon hypocritical if they do not keep their promises but expect others to do so.

Turkey put everything on paper. Show us where the EU put anythjing on paper on your "claimed" promisses by the EU.!

SO what you are saying is not to trust the EU and what they promise verbally or was even reported in the press?

Look how much the builders, estate agents, lawyers and the "trnc government" promised the Orams and all the other suckers who bought GC land in the north illegally, that their investments would be protected that it was all safe and legal, which did not save them, so does that then mean that everyone in the north are all liars.?? Of course not.! The point is, the EU body did not promise anything, or else it would have been on paper. You can't just take the word of someone who just works for the EU. There is a difference.!

So the EU are liars...and the Orams have not lost anything...time will resolve that one.

No, the liar is the one who gave you false promises not the EU body. Do you know how many people the EU employs.? Most likely greater than the entire "trnc". The real liars are the ones who sold GCs properties to foreigners as listed above and the Orams and the rest are the losers in law. In time they will lose in person also. Be patient.!

Im patient alright but I can assure you that it will not turn out as you expect. As for the EU liars we have concluded that we have always been right they are not to be trusted one inch especially not with our security.

Turkey will not make it into the EU, so try and use this leverage while you can because it is fast evaporating.

Nothing will happen and Turkey will have no incentive to solve anything, you will be a thorn in the side of the EU always reminding them what a stupid mistake they made taking you people in divided.
