How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

So implementation of the economic suffocation with love by the RoC to this day had nothing to do with it what so ever.

Why don’t you ask Turkey that question?

“Why did you invade and OCCUPY Cyprus illegally instead of restoring the state of affairs as agreed under London/Zurich?”

Had Turkey restored the legitimate government of Cyprus and then withdrawn, would the RoC have needed to declare her northern ports closed?

She is still trying to resolve the issues.

Image That's one hell of a long war... poor Turkey must've met so much resistance!

GR you are such a prat. You talk about "He made me do it". RoC is the one implimenting the suffocation giving an excuse the occupation army. You can think of 10 thousand other excuses if you want. They are all excuses. If you are unhappy about Turkey, take action against Turkey. Try suffocating them for a bit.

Anytime you feel unhappy about the RoC blockading her occupied territory, remind yourself of the burning question…

“Had Turkey restored the legitimate government of Cyprus and then withdrawn, would the RoC have needed to declare her northern ports closed?”

…and that should put your mind at ease as to who is causing your problems.

What's your problem YFred? What are you complaining for? Doesn't your side do the same or even worse to the 200,000 Greek Cypriots that you expelled from the north, and then usurped their homes, properties, hotels, farms and all their businesses? Don't you apply economic suffocation to those people too? Oh, I forgot, yours is yours and ours is yours too!

rest assured Yfred that there is no other way on this. If Turkey had followed its agreed constitutional obligations you would not be in this mess.

Now, even if a Cypriot President was insane enough to open a port he could not do it. There are very few things that unite ALL greek Cypriots. On this issue you will not find ONE greek Cypriot that thinks the other way. End the occupation and you can trade all you like via the legal routes, but the Greek Cypriots will never legalise the theft of our land.
