Talat: 'fewer territorial concessions'

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Talat: 'fewer territorial concessions'

Postby Lit » Thu Jul 09, 2009 10:25 am

FAMAGUSTA GAZETTE 09.JUL.09
Turkish Cypriot leader Mehmet Ali Talat has said that his side is prepared to make fewer territorial concessions than those provided by the Annan Plan.

According to reports, Talat said that his aim is to move the least number of people possible from areas which will be returned under Greek Cypriot administration after a solution is found.

He added that the Annan plan provided for 45,000 people to be moved to new properties but he did not specify the number of people he will propose to move.

One day the TC's will learn that the GC's will not accept a deal which is worse than the AP and that they will be isolated for another 100 years, period.

"Concessions" implies giving something that belongs to you. What this thieving b'stard means is .... More Thieving.

Very "brave" of Turkey to give us this talk via Talat; whilst itself recognising the time for demands is up.

100% Cyprus-EU ......

I wouldnt say that, things look better lately since the Orams ECJ verdict than say two years ago after the Annan plan rejection.

You should realise the longer it takes, the quicker Turkish Cypriot culture will be eradicated by Turkey. Anatolian or Cypriot culture - which one do you want YFred?
