MORE STATUES OF ATATURK TO PULL DOWN ONCE WE RETURN

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

That's very good. 10 out of 10.

Thanx, Freddie!

Well, if the people looked up, and assuming that the great man's mount is a stallion (s befits warriors) they would see what they will get instead of money!

Today’s Yeni Düzen compares two Ataturk statues, one in the Turkish town of Bodrum, the other the controversial new statue in Nicosia:

The statue in Bodrum shows Ataturk extending an olive branch in the direction of the Greek island of Kos, while the statue in Nicosia depicts him waving a sword in the direction of the green line. The newspaper asks which of these conforms better to Ataturk’s famous pronouncement “Peace at home, peace in the world.”

A good counter statue would be a big three story high bottle of KEO brandy in the path of the prancing Kemal. Nasty one I know but sometimes satire is the best response. Or to be more civic minded, a liver clinic or a branch of AA.

I feel sorry for the horse.

When we pull down the statue, can we saw off Ataturk and file down his legs or something ... just to extricate him and leave the statue of a stallion riderless and free .... :)

Can you not tell the stallion is enjoying it too, by the way its tail is up?

Bodrum horse looks much more good that Nicosia's.This must be destroyed first-do not allow Turks to feel that they can create art!!They must focus on bridges they can build very well they must not allowed to create art.
