Well that's probably because you don't have national heroes but national failures rather. Especially against the heroic Turks. 8)

hmm.. they didn't seem very heroic to me when they were swimming back to anatolia from Crete and Salonika

Last confrontation was indeed in Cyprus and our heroes ordered you to runaway  and you obeyed them like a coward.

I don't remember your tc troops telling anyone to bugger off. Now if you want to talk about the turkish and Greek army then I suggest you have a look at this.

kindly inform me when was the last time the state of Greece gave up territory to the Turks?

The invasion my friend was Turkey against the island of Cyprus. Don't mix the 2 up. As my friend says, are the TC's an entity on their own or not? If they are then taking the glory for someone else's battle is ridiculous.

south cyprus is a satellite country of Greece. Greece flags in your country prove you are not independent. 1974 war is won against south cypriots and Greece who were not willing to help their brothers because they knew they would not be able to do anything but to accept defeat.

Your info my friend is absolutely wrong. Greece not appeared because of its junta regime pre-agreement. In addition Greek junta regime did whatever possible to minimise any resistance to the invasion by individual officers who were not controlled by it.By only one sub marine (the most powerfull on east med that time ) the invasion would be failed. But Captain Gavriel (commander of the sub marine ) instructed by junta to return to Rhodes island when he was just outside Paphos waters!!!!-ready to attack anfd destroy the Turkish fleet.!!!!real story not propaganta.

Let me tell you the real story: There was a war and you lost it. Simple as that.

The final story is what you are saying i agree. I think i am the only one in this forum (gc) who clearly stating this fact and because of this fact i consider that can not be a FAIR solution on Cyprus problem under present circustances. These who are rush( Greek side) to solve the problem must take into account that they will sign an agreement as loosers of a war!!!

Would Greece also have to cede Aegean rocks and airspace due to the Imia disgrace?

Concessions? To whom the Turkish Cypriots? I don’t think so! When did the Turkish Cypriots win any wars or battles even? None!

They were beaten to a pulp every time which is why they needed “saving” remember?

Wait the time of oil explorations (very soon) and then you and some others will realize what Greece is capable to do -(and not only in Greek waters!!!!)

Turkey has no respect for losers and neither do we!

If you still have any doubts come out of hiding and come and face the NG and this time you’ll be turned into glass Ottoman figurines!

That's more like it so quit your delusional "us" and "we" when referring to Turkey because you’re just the incompetent Ottoman midgets who needed to be saved! Image
