Will you be suprised if new chapters are opened? and then all at once all closed...this is how things happen and the little "RoC" will not have the necessary weight to stop things but this is 20 years off and in the meantime the population in North is becoming larger than yours...will you still demand unification with one man one vote in 20 30 years time?

Want a bet that they will not open? You can stuck as many illegal Settlers on top of each as you want. Those illegal Settlers get no vote and will be send back to Turkey.

just how long can turkey keep the illigal state alive keep pumping money to the trnc and taking money from the casions it makes... how does a state run by the mafia and turkish arkmy expect to become anything.... just germany and france alone not wanting turkey in eu is enough.. maybe only two countries want turkey in the eu.. so without a cyprus probably turkey still wouldent be in eu

If you dont know my opinion I will repeat it Im not a great fan of the EU and I definatly think Turkey is not an EU nation and will never get in, the EU will be resolved before Turkey has any chnace of entering. This should concern you more than me because your whole leverage card is the EU, Turkey with no EU aspirations and you have no leverage, what will you do then?

exactly well said... they probably wont ever join europe... even with no cyprus problem most eu countries just dont want turkey in the eu... its just greece doesent say anything so they dont look bad..

but.. what im wondering is how turkey can continue to support th eilligal state they constantly rely on dnations from the eu.. being a part of eu will allow them to keep supporting and pumping millions into the so called turlish invaded north of cyprus.. eventually they wont be able to keep the illigal state running and the casinos is probably making all the money in the north whicht he money mostly goes back to turkey.

and what happens when turkey isent allowed in the eu and is holding hostage a eu state with troops? they are going to be allowed to stay?

If Cyprus is/was not on par with Turkey then how come she keeps getting her way all these years in so many issues at Turkey's expense?

And still Turkey does not yield...you cannot force Turkey to do anything she will do it when she is good and ready the same with the ports issue, this will go hand in hand with relaxation of isolation on the north, you watch how things develop at the end of this year.

 Keep dreaming. The best thing that Turkey can hope for is to give her one more year extension because there are negotiations going so we will see if they will accept our terms by the end of the negotiations which should be end of 2009 or in 2010. If the negotiations fail then we will begin our counter attack with our courts passing judgments Orams style and EU accession of Turkey ending in 2010.

Cant wait..lets see how things develop.

Keep watching all your doom and gloom stories only satisfy your own warped need to see Turkeys demise..she aint going anywhere and is a regional power that cannot be ignored. I take my hat of to Greece for seeing this and building stronger relations for mutual benefit.

Sounds like what that Adolf Hitler used to say about The Nazi Third Reich lasting a thousand years.

Strange how foolish fascist b'stards think alike.
