So what? Turkey does not say it doesnt want the EU but you guys rang theose doom and gloom bells saying ti was the end of the road for the TRNC as Turkey was obliged to recognize the "RoC" by opening its ports, what happened? No ports no nothing....when will you learn you are not that important in the grand scheme of things.

exactly turkey does what it does best ignore laws himan rights violtions and lives like appes who still marry donkeys its a 3rd world country probably a lot worse then south cyprus and close to africa where people are dying of the cold..

just how long can turkey keep the illigal state alive keep pumping money to the trnc and taking money from the casions it makes... how does a state run by the mafia and turkish arkmy expect to become anything.... just germany and france alone not wanting turkey in eu is enough.. maybe only two countries want turkey in the eu.. so without a cyprus probably turkey still wouldent be in eu

If you dont know my opinion I will repeat it Im not a great fan of the EU and I definatly think Turkey is not an EU nation and will never get in, the EU will be resolved before Turkey has any chnace of entering. This should concern you more than me because your whole leverage card is the EU, Turkey with no EU aspirations and you have no leverage, what will you do then?

WE ARE READY TO OPEN PORTS IN RETURN FOR EASING TRNC ISOLATION

We don't need your stupid ports. That is just the way to inflict a slow and painful end to your EU accession. How many chapter are closed so far?

4 billion dollars a year is a great incentive.

They will have to open the ports sooner or later, I hope all RoC registered ships get charged 10 fold for using them. That will bring in another 4 billion

It is Turkey which is going to be resolved before the 20 years that is the minimum time that is needed to enter EU. So yeah, better don't bother now. When Turkey will be split up maybe the western part can apply again.

If Cyprus is/was not on par with Turkey then how come she keeps getting her way all these years in so many issues at Turkey's expense?
