So why this hysterical condemnation of everything to do with it by some Greek-Cypriot politicians?Didn't it contain some positiive provisions too?
On the return of territory, for example?Or do they imagine they will get even more back now?

I hope they will give us nothing this time, so that we can reject it with a 100% NO vote.

Please please reject any new plan or even better walk away from the talks.

Why? Are you so afraid you will be brought to justice, nasty thief?

Personally I will, if it will be a disguised AP.

Anyway the talks seem to go around less important issues to avoid the territorial-property one.

Why abandon the talks? No need for that! Christofias may propose Talat to play some backgammon if they can't agree on anything!

Where will that lead you? Turkey will be more entrenched in its resolve to hang on. I think they are wating for you to give it an excuse to finalise Partition.

I was talking hypothetically! In the real world, Christofias will not allow for such a plan to go through a referendum!

Your repeated NO with bring with it concessions for the North so we are hoping you will walk away or reject a second referendum.

wishful thinking. You know for a fact that we're better at this politicking business than you. More likely that you'll be getting shafted again soon.

The above reminds me of this Bond film with Roger Moore. This dude turns up with all these fancy hand movements (Martial arts) kiks etc (not Kikapu) threatening our hero. Roger Moore takes out his Walther PPK and ends it all. Best scene in the whole film.

Actually Varosha (and Morphou) is pretty feasible.

On the other hand, let Turkey dream on entering the EU.

This is what I think too...

Postby cymart » Thu Jul 09, 2009 9:49 pm

If the Greek-Cypriots succeed in getting back all the territory which they would have got in 2004 in the Annan Plan they will be lucky after all the time which has elapsed since then.....I cannot see Turkey agreeing to more than a special zone for the villages in the Karpas after Yialousa which would allow a number of G.C's to return if they still wish to and I think the Turkish side will bargain this against them giving up Morphou...
