Greek Cypriot seeks asylum in the north

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

However it doesn’t occur in any other African countries, at least as far as I know. Could it be just a coincidence that it happens in those two countries which also happen to be predominately Moslem?

How about the rest of hundreds of Muslim countries where this doesn't happen? Couldn't it be that these two countries, which happen to be Muslim, have such a tradition which is mainly local and not Islamic? Besides there's a sizable number of other religions in these countries. Maybe this happens in those minorities?

Therefore it is a coincidence that it happens in those two countries!
Thank you very much Mete!
What is the big deal with asking such questions?
Did I imply that it is a 100% Islamic tradition? Did I say that it happens in Turkey either?
Yet some people, instead of explaining and answering the questions in a straightforward manner, they get so furious as if someone cursed their mother!

That's may be because of the way you write things. You always say something but imply another thing

So what would happen if all the refugees were to be circumsized- could they return to their homes-or- will the result just be flooding of the foreskin market, which will drive down foreskin prices lower and lower until it becomes no longer commercial to perform circumcisions and then...when all the competition has been put out of business. Thats when you put your prices up and thats how you create a circumsicion monopoly.

Kifeas, the problem with your argument was that you chose 2 countries, which happen to be Muslim, you pointed out a tradition in those 2 countries and you made the conclusion that that tradition is an Islamic one (maybe you didn't mean 100% Islamic but it doesn't matter anyway).

What you forgot was that there are hundreds other Muslim countries where this doesn't happen. If it was even 10% Islamic tradition (whatever that means!), don't you think it would at least happen in 10-20 countries rather than 2 African neighbouring countries which happen to be Muslim?

I don't know much about Islam but just thinking logically, I can conclude that this is a local tradition rather than Islamic.
