You should go over the results REAAAALLY slowly Piratis and see who won almost all the regions with a Kurdish majority around Eastern Turkey.

I think you may well be hovering in the right area when you make mention of the above, furthermore, I would suggest that ANY solution or settlement in Cyprus will be dependant upon the approval of the Israelis who, as usual, are living in constant fear that their own misdemeanours in the Middle Eastern Regions (and Cyprus) will be exposed and receive the condemnation it deserves by those under the oppression of them.

Much land in the Northern areas of Cyprus has already been purchased by unscrupulous Jews, I would imagine that there is little hope for any agreements outside of Israeli requirements, or indeed any prospect of acceptable relief (whether politically or militarily) for those Cypriots most affected, now that the stranglehold of the Jew has been (and will be further) applied. The President of the Cyprus Turkish Fighters’ Association Vural Turkmen has announced that they reject decisions taken by the TRNC Immovable Property Commission to restitute or compensate former Greek Cypriot property owners.

In a written statement issued yesterday, the Association President accused the commission of taking secret decisions which he added were in contradiction with the principles defended by President Mehmet Ali Talat and Prime Minister Dervis Eroglu.

Explaining that they shared President Talat’s views that the property dispute can only be solved within the framework of a comprehensive solution to the Cyprus Problem, Turkmen reminded that according to article 159 of the TRNC constitution all formerly owned Greek Cypriot properties located within the Republic’s boundaries belonged to the state.
“Returning any of these properties or providing compensation to their former Greek Cypriot owners is a clear violation of the TRNC constitution” he said.

Turkmen also claimed that the immovable property commission, set up with the aim of providing a domestic remedy for property cases, had lost its purpose with the ruling on the Orams Case.

Calling on the UBP government to immediately suspend all works of the commission, the Association President expressed the view that such a move will strengthen President Talat’s hand at the negotiating table.
