There will be nothing to decide on since Turkey insists on guarantees. We will just have to wait for your side to withdraw from the negotiations shortly after December.

The problem you have Halil is that the world has already heard our no. They also know the reasons behind that no. No one is going to blame the GC's for saying no to something that was refused in the past.

The TC's on the other hand have been telling the entire world while Tpap was President that they are doing evertyhing possible for a solution and that they are willing to compromise.

Who do you think will most of the international pressure be on then?

Yes DT,
world knows why u said no and why Tc's said yes . From here both sides needs some kind of quide to close the gap between themself . both sides has different kind of worries ,concerns , fears what else i can say ?

you are right they are doing their bests to find solution . There must be will for compromise ..... not to think all the time i must be the winner . They might agreed on win ....win basis DT .... how they can adopt the public is very important . we are not living at moon mate .... u know what u and your public opinion thinks .This is the hardest part of it .... to many question marks in my head . HOW ....HOW ....Hooowwwwwwww ??????

Treaty of Guarantee from Turkey are not acceptable to us. We cannot compromise on this as we are an independent country and a member of the EU.

Our guarantee is from the EU Charter.

We will NEVER accept intervention rights from Turkey...

Is this the same EU Charter that includes extraordinary rendition. You can have that down south where human rights are not so valued particularly for TCs and other Non-GCs. In the north we are too civilised for that sort of behaviour, old chap.

Are you aware how many torture planes have gone through Larnaka airport? and are you also aware how many torture prisons there are in the EU.

So if you don’t mind the TCs will stick to the current protector till such times as they can have confidence and then perhaps they can be persuaded to switch.

No I'm not aware of torture planes going through Larnaca you wombat. Surely they would have used Akrotiri instead you dickhead.

Not aware of any torture prisons either because they do not exist.

No problem.

Do you not read as to what is going on, old Chap? Let me enlighten you.
They will stat the give and take in Autumn. That's when the agreement will begin to materials.

Now who was it that was saying the Guaranty is not part of the negotiation?

Guarantees is something the GCs can never accept. Both Turkey, and Christofias know this and this is why such a solution will never be bought in front of the Cypriot people.

Talat is gone in a few months, and after December, the talks will collapse or just not progress.

Give and take is fine but so far Turkey has given nothing while we have given a lot. BBF was big compromise on our part.
