TCs are nearly down to single figures. The Island is too small to cater for just a few thousand people in terms of Official paperwork, especially since English is going to be the working language; that should suffice for non-Greek speakers.
Turkish will of course be taught in schools and used freely; it just does not need to be a second Official language. In particular, now that it is so strongly associated/reinforced as the language of the invaders ... (present company excluded, of course ).
That is bull crap, in Australia you can take the driving test in 25 different languages, even though English is the official language. Turkish has been an official language of the RoC since it's establishment. A BBF soln. means Turkish would have to stay an official language.
