Man, some people make me laugh, being Cypriot has nothing to do with being Greek or Turkish.

I think I explained this before, an Arab came to Cyprus with his Arab wife and had two Arab kids, those kids are now Cypriots, not Greek or Turkish, but Cypriots. My Greek parents came to England, had me as their child, and many more :), we are all British, not English, but British. Being Cypriot is as meaningful as being British.

There is not real-Cypriot, or true Hellenic, if you are Greek Cypriot, then by origin you are Greek and Greeks similar to many other origins do not get washed out or demoted because the live outside their country of origin. This goes the same for Turks, Arabs, Jews etc.

The term Cypriot is used to generalize nationals of Cyprus, and has nothing to do with being Greek or Turkish, despite the fact that the majority, for the time being, is either Greek or Turkish.

This is progress at least. If you'd have declared you were a Cypriot first, back in Yialousa, back in 1971, they'd have knocked seven shades of shit out of you.

I'm Greek, a Greek from Cyprus. 8)

Too late to back track now, my dear Yialousa. Bader Athanasios at the church of Ayios Arhangelos Mihail has already ex-communicated you for your treachery.

I am not in-charge, simply pointing out a different view. lol... in Cyprus somebody has to die to be put in-charge. That's funny. You either progress by somebody leaving work, or retiring and you taking their place. I guess that's why all the politicians are really old.
