I'm Cypriot

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

They're much more than that Deniz. Especially the Goebellian practise of lighting up pac-man at night. It breeds hate starting from the kids to the pensioners that can't help but catch it in their sight in Nicosia.

And then you have idiots like yfronts complaining about the education system in our schools. The best propaganda for our children to cultivate an enviroment of hate against the Turks is done by the occupation regime not by our schools.

It certainly does breed hatred. By keeping those flags where they arew is tantamount to shooting themselves in the foot. Then the north complain that the GC 'dont like them'. Thats why I trust no-one. All bloody hypocrites.

There's no reason to make out every one's the same just because the Turks are so bad.

Calling them hypocrites is tantamount to making normal everyday excuses for them (for who isn't a hypocrite?) ... just come right out and say it:

Turks are evil, expansionist warmongers!

Title - Cypriot (I googled 'UN gatalogue' but there wasn't anything) so I thought of an appropriate name all by myself.

How about you? You're already living in mama's embrace. She's made a bed for you in the box room and reads you bed time stories every night - myths and legends - like when you were a little boy. Don't you like it anymore? Is that why you keep bothering the Cypriots?

Don't you like it that some of your brothers and sisters have moved on and want to stand on their own two feet - and make mama proud?

I am encouraging Yialousa to join you so you won't be so lonely. He still needs mama too.

Oracle was right. She was quiet on this one.

I was right, no TC responded.

Thats when my popularity plummeted.

You can search for the second thread if you are interested.

Thanks... interesting.

Why do the foreign occupiers in the north need to keep reminding us that Cyprus was part of the Byzantine empire, do you think?

Don't they realise the Church in the free part won't ever let us forget?

I think the answer to why those flags are there is simple. As a response to the ENOSIS formerly written on the mountain Turks put the flags to demonstrate the idea: "This land belongs to Turks!"

That may be the feeling of some misguided people, but it is a wrong conception.

Cyprus belongs to all Cypriots. The days of conquest are long gone.

If we are to believe in, ' Ne mümkün zülm ile bidad ile imha*yı HÜrriyet..........' that should also apply to others.

Put simply, two wrongs dont make one right.
