I'm Cypriot

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

The Cypriot, this is the thread (first one.) on the subject of the crescent and star Byzantion coin.

Oracle was right. She was quiet on this one.

I was right, no TC responded.

Thats when my popularity plummeted.

You can search for the second thread if you are interested.

I was quiet, because I was busy researching on dog microbes and had not joined the forum by then  ... anyway please see my reference, much more interesting!

Oh ... I see Kristianikos said the same thing .... Oh well, been here too long!

Greek and Cypriot!

HALF

Deniz, just because O's a little mixed-up doesn't mean she isn't capable of being wholly Cypriot. Being Cypriot is a philosophy; a state of mind. I have a very good friend of Italian origin who is Cypriot.

BTW "I'm Cypriot"

Your Italian friend might be one of the surviving Venetians of Cypriot origin. Might even be a Cornaro.

Did I tell you that I am 'Kıbrıslı?'

The Cypriot is talking about my relatives.
I am a Kıbrıslı Lurucadi.

Thanks... interesting.

Why do the foreign occupiers in the north need to keep reminding us that Cyprus was part of the Byzantine empire, do you think?

Don't they realise the Church in the free part won't ever let us forget?

I was also told by many that churches in South have Byzantine flags. I don't like people talking on a subject without having sufficient knowledge on sth. As far as I know, that flag has nothing to do with Byzantine flag...It may be Orthodox church's flag...
