Present company excepted...

Sorry I missed it. What was the reaction? Shock? Horror? Did vp want to commit harakiri?

Thanks... I think that's probably a Byzantine expression originally.

If I remembered correctly, there was deadly silence.................from the TCs. Leading correspondent was Oracle nonetheless.

I wasn't on the forum over two years ago, but if you search, you may find I too mentioned the origins of the star and crescent  .... even the swastika goes back to the Greek key .... hence why the context matters!

One alias or the other, somewhere along the line you were there sweetheart

Well I wasn't on the forum over two years ago, so you were clearly talking to yourself.

Anyway, I found one of my postings on the subject (re-quoted on previous page) .... so show me yours!

The Cypriot, this is the thread (first one.) on the subject of the crescent and star Byzantion coin.

Oracle was right. She was quiet on this one.

I was right, no TC responded.

Thats when my popularity plummeted.

You can search for the second thread if you are interested.
