Hate is strong word but the labourers are the first to go and it would be the same if they worked in any other country in the world, the GC south is no different its just another country that needs cheap labour and the boss being a GC makes no difference. The only difference is when the GC boss treats his workers badly for being TCs.

So what you are saying is that there is NO work in the TNCR?

Whats the big deal about migrant workers they exsist all over the world you are importing cheap labour..the TCs are not different from the Sri Lankens or Indians that work for you guys.

Cheap labour which ever way you wish to look at it, happens all over the world even in the TRNC.

Some of the trades people I used to build my house recently had TCs working with them and they got on with the GCs like they’d known each other for decades… this doesn’t happen with foreigners. I was quite surprised… :?

Very rare this happens, plus how else can you act towards the hand that feeds you?

Is this why you fake friendliness towards the Turks?

Having contact with T/Cs on a daily base I can tell you they are just as Cypriots as the G/Cs . I'm known as a true Cypriot and I'm respected for that. Most do make an effort to say a few words in Greek as a gesture of their " Cypriotness" I tell them , and I insist that this island of Cyprus is just as their home as it is mine.
Can I also say that I have yet to meet one T/C who hates G/Cs.
VP's views are in the tiny minority , listen not to him !

Are the TCs you know Miltiades here in the TRNC, I think youll find that I used to think just like the TCs you know in the UK but when faced with the reality I gradually chnaged my views adjusting to the real GC mindset.
