Staying in the Penera Beach Hotel in Penera has anyone stayed there before what is it like? Been to the area before not the hotel any info appreciated thxs

Simple! There's no such hotel as "Penera", and there’s no such location as "Pernera" in Cyprus!

However, there is a hotel called Pernera Beach Hotel which belongs to a high school friend of mine, which is located in Protaras.

So start reading properly if you’re to ever get there!

Well forgive me for spelling it wrong we are not all perfect when typing. I can assure you that I can read and write very well and I find your sarcasm unhelpful. After all I am a tourist asking for help from fellow lovers of Cyprus. I do not require English lessons or how to read and write, I came on here from info. I so hope your friend who owns this hotel is not as bigoted as you.
As for Lee A Kada I think you will find you spelt Pernera wrong as well so put that in your pipe and smoke it.

If there's no such place as Pernera can someone advise me where we've been going the last 5 years? Pernera (OK, so there's an "r" in it, but so what) is a small resort about half a mile from Protaras. Pernera Beach Hotel is in Pernera, the clue is in the name. And we walked past it when we stayed in the Farkonia. In Pernera.

And I thought us Brits were pedantic.
