They all plead not guilty and just using the betting shop as their local cafe, only three are still working full-time and the rest are pensioners and they are all very friendly with the judge and on good terms as over the two years they have got used to each other. My husband and his brother are among the number and don't seem too worried about the outcome.

Annaka.

If they were english they would of been given 85,000 euro fine (EACH) and been sentenced, the judge, the police, the solicitor would of all their heads together like a german porm star with a chav moustach and said "oooh yar good english, lets have their pants down"!!!!!

Do I detect a slight touch of resentment regarding the way you have been treated in Cyprus?

After 35 years here, the only thing I can find to complain about is whinging Brits!

I have not met a brit who hasnt been mistreated in cy, because lets be fair, its a racist place to live and corrupt too, and I believe everyone should be treated equal, in cy they are not. sorry but you are constantly winching about brits, oh but thats okay isnt it for you to winch about brits but not the other way round, proves a very good point :)

Generalisations like your quote BCFWM are dangerous and frankly untrue  I have recieved bad treatment from a crooked Lawyer and his mate The Developer, we got our pound of flesh in the end, and would NEVER equate those two gits as a whole population, we met similar gits in the UK over a period of years and never blamed the whole of the UK for them  Chill out girl. Do not count me, as a Brit in your stupid quotes, you spoil it for us who now prefer to call Cyprus our adopted home.

And being pedantic here its not WINCH its whinge  Its easy on this Forum to join in and put your point over, who cares IF others don,t like it or refer to name calling, don,t rise to it so much. But at least be honest.

I was,nt defending you just pointing out a fact. I,m a realist.

what was that...dont rise to it so much, hypercrite.
Facts, opiniuns, whatever, we can all speak our minds without being dictated to.

You are allowed to talk as much bullshit as you like dear, just don't get so pissed off when you get shot down!

Is your life so bloody boring that you have to take the piss out of spelling mistakes!! who bloody cares, carrot cruncher, cheer yourself up and collect your pension from the uk will you, IDIOT

I,m confused it must be me age, am I a 'carrot cruncher' or is it CBBB with his Bugs Bunny icon?
I am being pedantic I agree and I apologise for correcting your spelling  (By the way its not advise its advice  )

But as for cheering up, so far, I would say that I am the much more content person in Cyprus than yourself. I have yet to fathom out why people come here to live and then condemn all of Cyprus. But as I am so 'bored' I will have some time to figure it all out. :?
Having to work occasionally in Cyprus for a living has its problems, and collecting my UK pension and works pensions in x years time will be nice. :) :)

But being a clever 'carrot cruncher' I have already earned enough in the past to pay for my life here. This makes me a happy bunny :D

So being semi retired at my young age makes me a bit smug, do I apologise for that? NO do I f**k.

As I finished my last post the sirens went off in our village, knowing a little about the significance of that and what was about to happen, makes someone who was,nt around then but has learned much since feel very humble, and lucky not to feel that terror. I won,t post anymore today as life is too precious to argue.
