Does anyone have any idea how much is costs to set up and register a Limited company in Cyprus, also the requirements for a non Cypriot holding a Ltd company in Cyprus.?
All useful information would be greatly appreciated.

Registering a company name wont cost you much max 100 euros but for a ltd co including foreign ownership I think you need to register it through an accountant or lawyer.

If the non-Cypriot is an EU national then he/she will face no restrictions of any kind.

I've already made contact with one lawyer and he's quoting 1,500 euros. When I asked him why so much his reply was - it costs 600 euros for him to register the company in Nicosia. IMHO I think this is excessive.

It depends on the Accountant or Lawyer as you need I either of these two to register a Ltd company . But If its just a Company name then max 100 Euros without any accountant. and it can be done in the departemnt of the registar of companies in Nicosia.

Yes its much . get more quotes there are many small lawyers or accountants who can charge less.

Especially when you can setup a UK Ltd company for £35!

I think at most it costs 200 euros, but lawyers add to that figure and inflate it to the around the figure you gave.
