My question is only to GC friends. Why do you want to unite with the North? Please, exclude the property issue

On the other hand, I haven't met even one single TC who has an enthusiasm to unite with the South!!! They look ok with the present situation...

By the way, where the hell on God’s Earth have you picked up that awful American slang word "DUDE" that you like to use so much.? It is hardly a word used by any Intellectuals in America, let alone an Intellectual from Turkey.!

In 1992, I used to play a computer game called California games 2. The word "dude" was repeatedly used throughtout the game, but my favourite phrase was this one: "Get a virtual life, dude."

I have an idea! Since you and your girlfriend are both foreigners, why not consider moving to one of your homelands?

To kurupetos: Her mom is GC and although she is Greek she has grown up in Cyprus. Keep your ideas to yourself, no idea is working for us...

Cyprus has been divided into two mainly because of the desires of Greece and Turkey, enosis and territorial designs respectively. Not the Greece but Turkey got what she desired. So what makes you think that Cypriots can solve their problems themselves. Today's situation is even more complicated than the past. Sadly speaking, Turkey has had what she desired and I don't think she will hand it to you (TCs and GCs) on a plate...

Nobody in Turkey understands your approach to the Cyprus issue. Your answers to this post strengthened my ideas over it. Rather than asking the Turkish Army leave or GC properties be returned etc. you should first make Turkish people and TCs understand your approach...In the eyes of Turkish people, South is the side that is asking for many things but not willing to offer anything in return. The isolations exercised on TCs unfortunately supports this thought.

I hope I added some to your perception of today's situation.

One more thing to point out. As far as I see no GCs criticize themselves. Is it because you are perfect humans and do not do any mistakes? You should also change this attitude if you really want to unite with the TC community...

turkey should also ackownladge that just because they have a big army it doesent mean they can take and invade our islands and take what is not theirs by force and ignroe everything else and totally ignore human right laws and expect all of eu to be like them
