I still think it is the job of the police to maintain the law. They know this racing on the roads by selfish and ignorant yobs in cars and motorbikes goes on and they know where it goes on.

I'd like to see the job description and an application form for joining the Cypriot police force.

I'm sure it doesn't say that you can sit on your arse in a car all day and not give a stuff about traffic laws being broken and do nothing about it.

The Cypriot police generally have got a terrible reputation and have had some very bad press and I would have thought that being seen by the general public to be doing their job in an active and positive way would be a good thing.

Hell no, I'm not doing the work that the police should be doing unless I'm premoted to above inspector level.

I very much doubt if video footage would be allowed in court by a member of the public anyway.

Look what happened when the police were filmed knocking 7 colours of sh1t out of someone recently.

The Police can only do so much, they can not wait outside your house round the clock.

The story goes they see the Police they leave, then they come back later.

As I stated in privious posts it not want the Police do, rather than what we do to help the Police.

These persons are only a handfull, once these prats are taken to court 90% of the problem is solved.

In a small village like Pervolia I am sure everyone knows who driving.

It is a very disturbing phenomenon that seems to have entrenched its destructiveness in the Cypriot youth. Not enough is done by the authorities to clamp down on this barbaric , stupid and dangerous act of racing up and down the streets creating as much noise as possible and causing death and destruction too.
I absolutely hate these bastards and their barbaric moronic behaviour.
The parents are to blame to a larger extend but the main responsibility lies with the authorities who seem to turn a blind eye .
As a Cypriot , I'm ashamed that these irresponsible brainless idiots are allowed to get away with it , I call them criminals that are permitted or tolerated to indulge in their criminal activities . Stupid bastards.

Growing up in my village , many moons ago , there was a man called PatsoGiorgis !! He got his name from his prolific usage of Patsous administered in a frequent manner against misbehaving youths !!Tough old sod he was , the entire village respected him and feared his temper . He was my grandmothers brother but it did not deter him from punishing me when I needed punishing . Perhaps Pervolia needs a PatsoGiorgis !!
