I thought I’d start this thread for two reasons…

1. I’ll be offline soon on holiday from the 12th of July and until the 17th and I won’t be taking a laptop with me :D , so there won’t be a need for people to send 20 pm’s or emails asking if I died or been captured by the Turks! :roll:

2. I’m interested in suggestions of places to visit, north of Paphos and all the way up to Pirkos, basically things to see and good non-seafood places to eat with non-tourist prices. :)

So, feel free to suggest good places for me to visit, and if you're a regular to also post the date of your summer holidays so we won’t assume you got kidnapped by aliens or something when you go all silent… :lol:

North of Paphos?

For me has to be the Akamas. Up to Lara, homothromos much of the way. Brill undeveloped and near-empty beach. There's a kentron near there, not the best of food but pretty good value which must have one of the best sea-views in CY and it has showers ... oh and the beach has turtle eggs.

Sure many of you have been there.

Maybe... 8) Always try to visit as many places as I can. So far I have Cyprus, Greece and Egypt within my itinerary.

I have been in the footsteps of CR and been to the Acropolis twice. I expect you to out do me and go to Is tin Poli at least three times - when the situation is more favorable. You wouldfeel at home among all yhe Greek tourists and ex-Istanbuliotes. :lol:

Hmm the holiday thread, well I'll be on a road trip from Melbourne to Sydney via the eastern coastline of Victoria. Hopefully will have some time to go to Canberra as well. Will be on the road in about 8 hours time.
