I believe in one man one vote, but there must be a system in place which is JUST'. We cant keep on arguing about Majority this and Minority that.
This must be addressed so we are all happy. I know its a tall order, but if we want a re-unification its worth working hard on a 'JUST' solution for all.

How? Thats not my department.

If the majority do not respect the freedoms of the minority then that minority will rebel, just like when GCs decided to turn Cyprus into Greece.

When did the TC's rebel?

Sorry to keep on about this but I'd appreciate an answer from VP. When did the TC's ever rebel?

G/cs never turn Cyprus to Greece. They were born Hellines and they were under occupation for centuries.

Today's T/cs (the majority of them) were exactly of what today settlers are.Came after an invasion/occupation.Can all of us understand this basic difference between T/cs and G/cs.G/cs were and are still looking foir the human rights in their own land and through their fights for this target were oblidged to defend against all these who became problem to this tatget.

Of course T/cs, through the years, obtained (should obtain) rights in the Island but this should not mean 50/50 shareholding of the whole Island/The rights of minorities are internationally regognise and if a state is a democratic one (particularly OURDAYS member of EU it should not be any question how these rights can be secured.

The Ottomans gave you your first rights on the island Epsilon, read some history. You owned nothing before that. If by simply living there makes you the sole owners of the island then so does for us as we have been here for 500 years. You dont get to call the shots by yourself as you are not the only owners of this island. Learn to share now!

I'll share anything you like in Cyprus with you Shah. Me and you are equal. As you so say so yourself it doesn't matter how long your ancestors have been here but what the individual citizens of this country do and how equally and fairly they are treated.

You can't have this both ways though. If you want to play the communal card then accept that you are a numerical minority in a country where the majority has a far greater history than you on this place. If you choose to play the individual level then me and you are equals and you have as many rights to this place as I do.

I recommend you go with the individual.

I don't think anyone wants to control you anymore Epsilon. But we don't want to be controlled either. Why should we fall to a minority status in our own country? Especially for one we have fought for and worked to build?

Unfortunatetly these gentlemen are feeling happy latetly. Right...

You did have pretty distorted views on your previous posts regarding historical facts.

When the Ottomans came you were nothing but slaves.

That alone pretty much sums up your "fight" and how well you did.

The only reason you broke out of your chain-slavery is because of the Ottoman system, nothing more.

So who are you to call us foreigners!
