No one's denying you your rights. You on the other hand VP deny the rights of others and in a few days time you will be celebrating the deaths of thousands of your fellow countrymen. You'll be having a good time on the 20th won't you mate?

Having a good party whilst 10,000s of your fellow CYs grieve, as they have done for the past 35 years, for their loved ones, murdered by your "protecting" Turkish Army and by your fanatic tissy friends in the Green Goats.

Your foul views are repulsive to all freedom loving, all right thinking people.

This thing will soon be over.

Would you celebrate the day you were saved from anniahalation

You really should ask those that dreamed of enosis and divided this island forever caused the heartache on both sides of the divide.

If foul and repulsive to you means my protection and safety then so be it.

No mate, when I say foul and repulsive I mean foul and repulsive.

Can you remind us of how many tissies were harmed in the months preceding the Barbaric Annexation Assault of the 20th July 1974 please. How many exactly were the subjected to "anniahalation" in this period? How many tissies were shown to be alive as prisoners on our tvs yet were never seen again?

Enjoy your party mate, soon be time to let go of your murderously gotten spoils of war.

Go do some research the 11 years prior to the intervention was no holiday camp for TCs, the chants of Turkey cannot save you are still ringing in every TC ears, Sampsons declaration that had not Turkey intervened no TCs would have been left alive is enough proof of the dangerous situation TCs were placed in and the risks, Tcs fought back with everything they had and that was Turkey, I will not apologise for being alive and celebrating the day we were freed from the strangle hold of GCs.

Not answering the questions again. How many tissies were subjected to "anniahalation"?

Enjoy celebrating the deaths of thousands of CYs on the 20th. Pretty foul and repulsive party.

It may be the last time you do.

Go research the deaths of TCs from 1963 to 1974...anniahaltion was a threat we could not leave to chance we fought for survival just like any other human being.

Why didnt the GCs meet the Turkish army with flowers? what did they fear?

Bill, if you look at these celebrations, for the last 10 years and very few actual civilians attend them. Of the civilians, they are mostly the families of the soldiers in the processions.
I am with you on this one, I do hope that you are right and its the last time anybody celebrates that day.

I'm pleased to hear that Freddie.

I do have a feeling that his thing will be over some time next year.

I hope we can agree on a day to commemorate all the people who have been killed from 55 to 74 and even after, together.

Well said mate. I'll drink to that.

If that day would come, and all Cypriots would together pay respects to the deceased of both sides and after move on to live peacefully with no outside intervention, you would be leaving your decedents a priceless heritage, one that would serve as basis for the for-coming generations to bring up their families in a solid nation. If that could be achieved every single one of you would in my eyes and in the eyes of all peace loving people true heroes...

Unfortunately VP its your people who didnt know what they were signing...The establishment of a Democratic Republic IMPLIES that majority rules...as long as civil rights are safeguarded. Even if it wasnt specified in the written constitution the majority has these rights. For instance if a speed limit sign is knocked down it doesnt mean that one can drive as fast as they want.. If the vast majority Greek cyps wanted to amend the constitution it was inwithin their implied rights as a majority to do so. None of the 13 points were detrimental to the rights of the Turkish cyps..Make sure your people read it this time very well....

Read your own constitution you will see our rights there...with your signature on it, sorry forgot you renegged on that one, which does not make you a trustworthy partner as you could do the same again, thats why we demand safeguards and guarantees to make you stick to what you agree.

The thing to bear in mind with these 13 points - they were PROPOSALS for discussion. Proposals that were seized on by the tissy leadership as a pretext for a withdrawal from government, an effective partition. The rest is history.

Go research the deaths of TCs from 1963 to 1974...anniahaltion was a threat we could not leave to chance we fought for survival just like any other human being.

During the inter-communal conflict (which was started by the TCs in 1958) there were some 100s of deaths for both GCs and TCs. You call this "annihilation" threat? Annihilation thread was when the Ottomans killed 20.000 people in Nicosia alone within days when they first invaded Cyprus. Or the many 1000s of GCs that were killed during the span of a few weeks in 1974. Some 100s of people dying over the span of several years is an amount less than the people that die in Cyprus today in road accidents!

So don't try to exaggerate your casualties and suffering in order to excuse yet more crimes against us. The fact is that your casualties and suffering is a drop in the ocean compared to what you have caused to us. Another fact is that neither you or us would have any casualties if you didn't initiate wars and conflicts against us with the aim to deprive us from freedom and democracy and have Ottoman style gains on our expense.

Halil, where were these prison camps in 74? Thats the date on these letters. Was this prison camp you speak off by any chance the British bases where the TC's went to while waiting for the move to the north?

Also notice the dates. They are all after 20th of July when Turkey with the help of TCs invaded Cyprus and started to kill innocent Cypriot people by the 1000s.

Their audacity has no limit. They attack us starting the war, they kill 1000s of innocent people, they ethically cleanse 100s of thousands, and then they want to present themselves as the victims because they also had a couple of 100s of casualties and they suffered for some time during the war they started against us!!
