I moved out here 20 years ago without much of a plan and with a lot less money than you have. Ahhhh the ignorance of youth! The huge advantage I had was that my wife was Cypriot. I learned the language and my kids were born here and went to public school here. Three are still in school here, but I have to say I find the quality has degraded since joining the EU. My oldest did private lessons which was costly, and wasn't really necesssary (but certainly beneficial) since she wanted to study in the States. She's there now at a very prominant university, on the honor role and received a scholarship. Cyprus has a million advantages and a million disadvantages. You take your chances, but I would say the schools here are pretty good and you would want your kids to become integrated with society asap. If they don't speak Greek I would suggest you may look into the private education system. Good luck to you.
