I'm also moving to Cyprus next year but before I come I will be launching a football website called www.scoutingworks.com which will launch 'officially' on the 15th August.

If you get any talented players they can register with us and you can also search for players and find youngster to join your academy.

How many British qualified coaches are there now ? must be in excess of 25.000. Met one two weeks ago at the airport in Morocco, also looking for work. I believe 98% of British primary schools also now have accredited football coaches, so do most British villages, towns and cities, and we still can't put together a good national team.
Give me a Italian or Spanish trained coach anyday, at least they can play the game !

Football

Due to island's mild winters many football teams from Northern and central European countries use Cyprus for their winter training.

Football grounds with grass can be found in all towns and sea-side resorts. Every town has its own athletic centre.
Most of the first division football teams possess their own centres as well.

a) Makarios Athletic Centre: Lefkosia - Makedonitissa 6km (4miles) South-East from the city centre.
b) G.S.P Sports Complex: Lefkosia - approximately 7 km from the city centre, off the Lefkosia - Lemesos motorway
c) Tsirion Athletic Centre: Lemesos - approximately 5km (3miles) north from the town centre.
d) Olympia Indoor Hall: Lemesos - approximately 5 km (3miles) north from the town centre (next to Tsirion Athletic Centre)
e) Zeno Athletic Centre: Larnaka - approximately 3 km (2miles West, from the city centre.
f) Pafos Athletic Centre: 3km (2miles) east from Pafos town centre.

The following football installations belong to Municipalities and to private companies and are offered for rent by any interested person.
Most of these installations offer all possible facilities for the training of football teams.
