Q. What did the Hurricane say to Miltiades?

A. I've got my eye on you!

Well you did say "Miscellaneous thoughts" ...

But, back to your original proposal ... If you were to explode a bomb within a low pressure hurricane, you would surely increase the outward pressure (i.e. lower the internal), thereby adding momentum to its force! :?

With a high pressure hurricane, you would have to balance the force generated by the bomb-blast to the inward (towards the eye) pressure in order to neutralise the force ...

I think you're on to something here, GR!. Are hurricanes and cyclones found in countries with high concentrations of landmines? I think not. Coincidence? I think not.

You could tow a giant iceberg from Antarctica, into the eye of the Cyclone thus cooling the sea temperature of the water and causing it to dissipate..... 8)

That is a dumb idea.!

Just send Hillary Clinton up in a hot air balloon to the eye of the storm. It will start snowing in no time.!!

Image....Erm...With Hillary's ever expanding hips, I think the idea of taking her excess weight into the eye of the storm in a hot air balloon may not be such a good thing for the environment...Think of the carbon footprint....

Still think towing an Ice Berg from Antarctica is more efficient, unless Hillary goes on a crash diet....

I hope Bill Clinton keeps in touch with Monica...
