Hi

For no obvious reason my PC is running excruciatingly slowly at the moment; I've defragmented/cleared out all cookies/done diagnostics, scanning, etc. but it's still only as fast as an arthritic tortoise. Can anyone recommend a good, reliable, experienced PC engineer in the Episkopi/Erimi/Akrotiri/Pissouri areas who doesn't charge the earth?

There is a place in Limassol that sells and repairs computers - Ultimark Solutions, proprietor Spyros Spyrou, tel: 25356855, near Pendadromos (Nafpiliou Street 12). Spyros is a London-born Cypriot and I find him to be brilliant on all IT matters. Give him a ring - he may be able to solve the problem himself, or recommend somebody who can.

A trip to Nicosia to have your PC turned from a tortoise to an F1 while you shop at the Mall for a couple of hours, may well be the best investment you’ve ever made on it…
