Lets say you were to leave Cyprus then you go back to the UK, there you will surrender your CYP license and they will hand you back your UK one, sending the Cypriot license back to Cyprus
Any tests you pass in Cyprus can be added to your UK license, if sent to Swansea with the relevant paperwork.
A new law for all EU countries will be adopted soon allowing the court of one EU state to impose points on a license of another EU state drivers license.
That is to say if you are convicted by a court in Cyprus for drink and driving and you are the holder of a UK license, then that court may impose points on your UK license.
