I AM Cypriot.
I'm speaking on behalf of somebody else, and its been a long time coming.
The problem is unprofessional and inexperienced gynocology in Paphos.

Paphos is a bloody shithole in general, move to the more civilized areas of limassol and nicosia.

Damn! Beaten to it.

Not sure about Lim though, lot of shady looking characters there.

I won't search it :? ... I'm a bit squeamish! ... but they probably just assign "xxxx inflammatory disease" to most things that a little regular hygiene can prevent ...

But, if your "friend" already knew what she had ... why was she seeing a gynaecologist? Was she not being treated by whomsoever had diagnosed it in the first place?

I didnt go to be examined or anything like that that, just to get a prescription, and The Dr (fat, smelly, rude Dr) would not stop shuting at me, he was a nasty man, about 50 times my size, and how I didnt chin i never know...

She didn't!
She kept going back and forth from one doc to the next.
Finally she was reffered to one in Nicosia
He diagnosed the problem immediately.
Hundreds of Euro and manhours later it was diagnosed.
A fairly common ailment, but if left untreated can cause damage.
IMO doctors are like mechanics, you get the good and you get the bad.

Well I hope she is well on the road to recovery and very lucky to obtain a diagnosis in time for treatment.

But seriously, I've never heard any of my friends praise any gynaecologists .... It must be the nature of the beast.

RichardB
Oh come on doesn't anyone want to know why?

That is supposed to be the question to the original poster

Then he/she can go into a tirade about the inadequecies of the Cypriot Medical profession and tell us how much better things are in the UK

Now play the rules

Now .. Now ...Richard play nice :):):):):) (your becoming cynical toward the british as I am lol).

Which Hospital and which Doctor, then they can be avoided, name and shame

How do you know there is a gynaecologist living next door to you.
