Lucky present-day (nice) Mongolians who managed to get rid of their belligerent members; and unlucky us who have to interact with their descendants (Turks) these days.

How can “Greeks” claim to have colonized western Turkey yet differentiate themselves today from the very people they willingly blended with?

Modern Turks look identical to modern Greeks because most of the western half of Turkey and Greece were one and the same people…

So you do go along with Epsilons and Mustafa Kemals assertion that the Ancient West Anatolians are the Ancestors of Modern day Turks and Greeks? :?  A Panayia mou!!

Deniz, please remeber that A Banaiyamu only works if it is followed by the Cross and then a fart.

"Greeks" don't claim to have colonised anywhere .... you're starting to sound a little mixed-up again

And never mind what people look like ... Adaptation to new environmental insults happens over very few generations.

If modern Turks have any Mongoloid genes then rest assured modern Greeks have them too.

Yes genetically we all share a common ancestor ....

But, "modern" ...? I think this is where you get mixed up with politics and cultures, and you lose the plot

So when someone tells you that your ancestors have come out of Africa you are delighted.

Absolutely! Modern Greeks are basically a Slavo-Turko-Mongoloid mongrel of a people.
