Yes, why can't they? You should be proud of your own ...

My God - what the hell is that?!

If you are claiming to be anything “Greek” today then you may well be starring at your ancestors in the face.

I was so tall in comparison with other kids, I was often called a 'Gamillos'. A very good looking Bactrian indeed.

Your tourkomongolistanies' proud ancestors ... of course!

Lucky present-day (nice) Mongolians who managed to get rid of their belligerent members; and unlucky us who have to interact with their descendants (Turks) these days.

How can “Greeks” claim to have colonized western Turkey yet differentiate themselves today from the very people they willingly blended with?

Modern Turks look identical to modern Greeks because most of the western half of Turkey and Greece were one and the same people…

The entire Aegean was one happy family; fishing, snorkeling, and making passionate Mediterranean love… united in blood!

If modern Turks have any Mongoloid genes then rest assured modern Greeks have them too.

WHen it comes to assertions regarding ethnicity, history and culture then be assured that no matter how many PHD's in archaeology and history this forum lacks, it more than makes up for it by a PhD in copy pasting websites to prove facts that are not understood either by the author or by the majority of the readers on here.

I wish life was simpler; Greeks calling themselves Greeks, Turks staying Turks and Cypriots agreeing to Cypriotness.
