There was a report on BBC news about the Parthenon marbles yesterday.

The BBC reporters words were something like the marbles were hacked from the temple by Lord Elgin 200 years ago, while Greece was under Turkish occupation. The report also said that the Greeks call the British Museums claim on the marbles as British colonial barbarism! One Greek journalist said if the British could give back India then they can give back the marbles LOL

The marbles and all other Greek & Cypriot antiquities should remain in London, New York, Paris, etc. because more people have the opportunity to visit the museums in the those big cities (although free entrance and red carpet should be ready for every Cypriot visiting ).

Cyprus doesn't even have a main museum, just tiny small museums in every city and village.
