A TRILATERAL MEETING INVOLVING TALAT,CHRISTOFIAS AND BARROSO MIGHT BE ON AGENDA

The Leader of the Greek Cypriot Administration Demetris Christofias has come up with an offer to President Mehmet Ali Talat, inviting him to join his working dinner or lunch with the EU Commission’s President Jose Manuel Barroso next week.

The Commission President prepares for an official visit to Cyprus where the latest developments concerning the Cyprus negotiations process will be high on agenda.
If President Talat accepts the offer, a trilateral meeting will be held on the Cyprus issue, involving the EU.

Mr. Christofias has held a series of meetings with EU leaders including Jose Manuel Barroso, as part of his visit to Brussels for the EU Summit.
He held a press conference to evaluate his contacts in the EU’s capital.
Referring to Barroso’s upcoming visit to Cyprus, Mr. Christofias said he will have the opportunity to discuss the Cyprus problem with the Commission President more extensively during a tete-a-tete meeting next week.

Also touching upon his meeting with the British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Christofias said that he would probably pay a visit to London in a near future for a broader discussion with Brown on the Cyprus problem.

Halil, what are the directors of Bayrak?

Are they Turrkish Cypriots?

Nothing to afraid what the directors said Deniz ......

GREAT RESPONSIBILITY FALLS UPON NGO’S IN PROTECTING GAINS RIGHTS OF TURKISH CYPRIOTS
Acting President and Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Hasan Bozer has said important responsibilities fall upon civil society organizations in bring about a solution to the Cyprus problem and in protecting the gains of the Turkish Cypriot people.

Mr. Bozer was speaking during a visit paid to him by the Society of Retired Fighters.

Speaking during the visit, the President of the Society Mehmet Salih Direktor wished success to the Parliamentary Speaker in his new job.

Welcoming the visiting delegation, Mr Bozer reminded that fighters had played an important role in the national struggle of the Turkish Cypriots, adding that the struggle waged by the fighters is a source of honor.

`Of course, struggles never end, they continue in a different shape` he said, adding that a political struggle is now being waged and that it needs the support of the people.

He said serious responsibilities fall upon civil society organizations in order to conclude this cause with success, to protect and further the gains achieved.

`Serious responsibilities lie on you as civil society organizations especially today when the Cyprus negotiation process is continuing and the world is trying to choke the Turkish Cypriots one way or the other` he said.

Referring to the Orams Case, he said serious steps have been made to remove the gains of the Turkish Cypriot people.

`At this point, the Turkish Cypriots should be vigilant`, he noted.

100% certified crazy. According to your "logic" Turkey will have to ship over 1,000.000 people out in 20 years time.

Actually no, because the shipment will start much sooner than you think.! But don't worry about it VP. You will give up a little part of the island to be with land that will be hundreds time bigger than what you gave up and be with your roots. Give up a little, gain a lot.!

What will it take to prove you wrong? your lifetime? you throw these weird scenerios up in the air and expect people to be stupid enough to accept what you say as the truth.....we all know what you are. We have 37% of this island and we aint letting go, time you realized that as it would bring a new perspective to your greatly blinkered, biased vision.

What you think you have and what Turkey wants to do with it is totally out of your hands, and if you don't already know this by now as everyone else seems to know, than you are just a hopeless romantic fool who thinks that Turkey loves you so much that she will let you keep what you have and keep her 70+ million Turks out of the EU.!

Boy, when you dream, you really dream BIG.!

Talk is cheap...prove it or shut up with your Ill throw shit around and hope it sticks attitude.

Do you remember you claimed that Turkey would sell us out be opening her ports thus recognizing the "RoC" and derecognizing the TRNC?? what happened? Your doom and gloom stories are just that stories.

I never claimed that Turkey will not recognize the "trnc". How can a mother not love her baby, no matter how ugly it may be. It's mother nature.!

As for Turkey opening her ports to the RoC, the dead line is in December, so what's your hurry.! If she does not, she will have to face the consequences, that's all. Just be patient. You already got a new status this week from being a TC to a CT. Enjoy the moment.!

Deadlines have come and gone in the past and this one will do the same the EU will make some garbled excuses and extend a few more years and your leverage will have back fired yet again the GCs will walk away with zilch.....unless the GCs concede relaxation of isolaiton in exchange for opening of ports, its all a matter of give and take.

Why are you upset about this CT TC thing?? try being honest for a change no sarcasm please.

Who's upset.? I'm just stating what your "government" wants you to be known as, therefore I'm obliging them by calling you a Cyprus Turk, or CT for short, which is what you always claimed/wanted to be anyway. I'm happy you have gotten your wish finally. Soon you will be called a Turk, your ultimate dream come true. Since I do not recognise the "trnc" I am not obliged to change my original status, just I did not change my name, therefore I remain as a True Turkish Cypriot and Cyprus remains my country of birth, all of it.!.

Then its our issue not yours, just trying to exaggerate it doesnt do anything for the current impass, just reconfirms that you are a clear risk and will use any ammunition to run us into the ground. Can you stop this as it serves no real purpose and builds negativity and mistrust between TCs and GCs.

Don’t think it’s not coming, because that is my next prediction, that it will.!

Another story...you are really grasping at straws.

I can see things beyond my nose. You on the other hand, can't even see your own nose.!

Thats your opinion doesnt make it right. You are more blind and biased than most...you have yet to back just 1 TC arguement.

Give me a TC argument to back which does not violate anyone’s Democratic and Human Rights and I will do it. So lets hear the TC arguments that you would want me to back with the above criteria’s, if you can..!

I'm still waiting to hear from you, VP.. I don't have all night, so lets have it.!

As of now, there is no longer TC's and GC's, at least according to your own "government" which you support their policies, and you want to talk to me about negativity, really.? It is now between CT's and GC's, assuming the GC's will want to deal with you CT's much longer, but for me as a true TC, I will work towards in bringing a Democratic peace between the remaining true TC's and the GC's. You can do what ever the hell you want, and quite frankly, I really don't give a damn.!
