Where do you get these stupid assumptions from Turkish magazines?

Not assumptions at all and being as I understand only a few words of Turkish it would hardly be from Turkish magazines. The source is an impeccable one, an RAF Squadron Leader friend attached to NATO. I can't remember his exact words but basically he was saying that they were A1.

Sorry that this is not what you wanted to hear but as I am in a good mood I won't spoil your day by letting you know what he thought of Greek pilots.

TAF pilots’ expertise is beyond doubt. In the 70s they used to hold competitions within Nato and American Pilots were embarrassed by TAF Pilots every time.

APEC also had this to say about the Mistral:
DUE TO ITS SHORT RANGE (AVERAGING 5,000 m.) ITS USE IS
MAINLY LIMITED TO THE MOMENT THE AIRCRAFT APPROACHES
FOR LANDING OR DURING TAKE OFF (LOW ALTITUDE ALTITUDE).

Apparently The Cyprus hunters federation want to by some Mistrals as well....That way, when they shoot some Ortikia, they are cooked instantaneously and are fresh for Choirokitian connoisseurs....Image

Ortikia anyone?

Another back handed pimp slap for GatTouri!

Nice form, Paph.

The fact is that HAF and TAF pilots are amongst the most highly trained pilots in the world due to regular dog-fights over the Aegean. A scenario that many pilots could only hope for.

Judging by recent performances though I'd say that the TAF is getting a beating from HAF.
