How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Milt, are you for the recognition of Kosovo? If so why?

I' not particularly pro or against recognition. What I'm for is acceptance of the International communities as well as the UN and the EU's actions in recognizing Kosovo.
75 countries have so far recognized , do you think that Cyprus and Greece will not eventually ? The minute that the EU officially recognizes then so does Cyprus.

Cyprus can't recognise Kossovo, because there is a very fine line between Kossovo and the "trnc".

Too F*****G right.
But don't worry, TCs do not yet want independence. Vote no next time and it will be very interesting.

Vote no on what exactly??

You'll soon find out, not long left now.

If there is ever going to be a blueprint and is going to be vastly different to what you are expecting.... 8)

There is no way there is going to be a consensus on a plan the GC electorate won't vote for...

You guys just don't listen. That’s the Serbian mentality that lead to Kosovans voting for independence. For once stop and think what TCs would like instead of me myself and I mentality.

Miltiades, who are we to deny Kosovo self determination if that is what the population has voted?
This is so wrong, anybody who opposes it, it's because they themselves are oppressing a minority which may want self determination.
Show me one country that falls outside of that category.

Thats 'Politics' Yfred, and thats why I HATE it. Ever heard 'your enemy is my friend'. Its the way it goes. Remember Eurovision?

We have put our demands on the table, and the ball is in your court to either accept them or leave the negotiations. There is no backing down on vital red lines such as a True BBF based on one man one vote and with no intervention rights for Turkey. There will be no 2 state virgin birth, so where does this leave Turkey and his little puppet, Talat?

I know exactly what you mean and no I do not watch Eurovision for that reason.
That is also why we are judged by the friends we keep.

No wonder, since the country you indicate is a figment of your poor imagination.

The RoC will not recognize Kosovo at the present time and rightfully so, since neither does the UN or the EU bodies. Another reason, is not to go against the wishes of Russia and China, because the RoC needs their support in the UNSC. But that's not to say, that the RoC will not recognize Kosovo as a EU member, because they will have to when the time comes, and the rational will be, that unless they allow Kosovo to become a EU member, the other EU members who do recognise Kosovo will threaten to veto Serbia into the EU club. Russia will want Serbia to be in the EU club just as the US wants Turkey in the EU, therefore, Russia will accept Kosovo to be in the EU as long as Serbia makes it also at the same time. Once Kosovo is in the EU club, it will be recognised by everyone. This of course will get the RoC and the other 3 EU member states off the hook with Russia and perhaps even with China, since they had to compromise on Kosovo in order to have Serbia in becoming a full EU member state. The payoff will be of course, that the RoC will have another close ally in the EU next to Greece, which will be Serbia.! Serbia will be another EU member which will be a threat to Turkey's chances of becoming a EU member, since Turkey recognises Kosovo. In the end, it is going to be a Chess Game for all those involved with Kosovo and Serbia. By one side giving up a piece in order to become a EU member vs. the other side winning a more important piece by also becoming a EU member. This will also be the kind of a game Turkey will have to play at some point in the future with the RoC over the north and the "trnc". Turkey too will need to give up something small, to gain something BIG in return, just like Serbia will with Kosovo!
