I spoke to a lovely lady at the Ayios Stephanos Foundation and informed her that some time this coming Sunday my son in law will pass by and present her with the sum of £400.00 Stg , I respectfully asked that the money is used to give children a few treats , maybe a trip out or so and kindly asked that all of the funds are used solely for children's comforts .
We tend to waste such an awful lot of money on so many things , these little kiddies deserve a little treat ,
it would be so nice if we have an Ayios Stephanos Children's Home week and pledge a little money for this very worthwhile cause . Kindly either pledge your donation on this thread or PM me . Receipts will be issued by the Home . Lets give a little laughter to these misfortunate children and let us be grateful that our children , grandchildren are healthy .
Pledges from as little as 10 euros would be appreciated .

I promise not to call anyone a Plonker for a WHOLE WEEK !!

My dear M, your promise not to call anyone a plonker (except GR?) for a week and your commendable desire to give the kids a treat has worked its charm on me. Well done Pappou.

Please advise how to get a small donation by way of a sterling cheque to you. Made out to? Address?

Cheque in post tomorrow to South London.

My Fellow Forumers, times may be a little hard but there's always a time to put a smile on the faces of these children.
