This is a car to die for if you are a serious petrol head. It will see anything off.

Doesn't matter if you have Italian super car, Yank muscle car or any other Jap crap this car will be away from traffic lights before you can even blink.

I wish I had the money 'cos I've lusted after one of these for years.
(actually I have the money but I don't want to die a very slow and painful death at the hands of 'er inside)

ive wanted a bayside blue R34GTR for about 10 years now and its looking highly likely that i get one in the near future. i have one question for you... how on earth do you pass emissions every year with that kind of horsepower? i'm guessing you need some sort of enginework to get there (including injectors and standalone ecu that usually kills emissions). is it possible to pass emissions legally or do you have to trick them somehow.

sorry for the offtopic, good luck with the sale.

to get that power without breaking the engine you need what i have done to mine everything is listed above, mot in cyprus is every two years not one and an mot here is easy compared to the uk they don't test emissions so nothin to worry about mate as long as you have a factory nissan or nismo exhaust with cats you'll pass import, registration and mot but anything on the car that isn't made for the car by nissan you have a bit of negotiation involved, hope this helps

well i dont know where you take it for mot but they do a sniffer test here in limassol and the one mot station guy i talked to was talking about nazzi rules. (like they would even fail you if the car was lowered).

maybe the car is a pre-obd2 in which case i think they dont do the sniffer, what year is it? last question, (promise), was the tuning done here in cyprus? if so by who? would be nice to know someone knows these cars around here.

cheers and good luck once again

thats why i bought a 94 the lwas here are based on the ones in the uk pre 94 jap imports need no emissions test if you import the car non lowered they measure the height of the car at registration i'd done all that in the uk i did raise it up cause of the sodding pot holes in paphos but i've heard of people being fined for havin their car slammed to the ground you need to find a mechanic with a good relationship with them the guy i used is called nick you can contact him off his performance car cyprus website just google it, he's a top guy honest as the day is long mate knows skyline's very well did an awesome job on my engine he's the best guy to use if you want honest service at a good price he's based in larnaca easy to find directions off his site you should see some of the cars he has in his shop his evo when its done will waste anything on the island he knows all the new rules aswell so i recon give him a ring and ask him to be sure hope this helps
