Then how do you explain Cyprus's entry into the mother of political and economic unions, the EU?

With the approval of GREECE !!!!

Was there the approval of Turkey who was also a "guarantor" you stupid fuck?

HEY mother fucker watch your foul language you ignorant peasant !!!

I suppose Cyprus got in on its own ! It has nothing to offer the EU except cheap holidays. 98% of Europeans do not even know where Cyprus is. Wake up and then wash your mouth up with soap to clean that vulgar tongue of yours before you start abusing others. If you wish to debate fine, but watch your language !!!

Once again you demonstrate your idiocy.

Greece did not approve our entry into the EU. It was always a given that Greece would support our entry into the EU as a loyal ally that it is, but we did not require their permission or approval to do so, you silly idiot!

Greece just lobbied and fought for our entry into the EU, even to the point of threatening to veto other nations from EU accession.

That is what allies are for. Apart from that, Greece and Cyprus are separate nations entirely, and Cyprus does not require Greece's permission for anything.

Game over Mehmet.

Actually the biggest thanks goes to a Cypriot in the Greek Government at the time. Yiannos Kranidiotis, the greatest diplomat Cyprus has ever produced made it all possible through his intelligent use of diplomacy and veto threats via the Greek MFA.

Unfortunately we lost him shortly after he accomplished this life goal of his in the Hellenic PM's jet, when the plane hit a big airpocket and Yiannos and his son died.

If as you say he was the "greatest Cypriot diplomat " even above MAKARIOS, what was he doing working for the Greek Government instead of the Cyprus government ?

The fact that you're calling Makarios a diplomat has given me many clues about your knowledge of Cypriot politics.
