It's a shame Greece is forced to spend heavily on defending EU borders because of an overly aggressive warmonger neighbour like Turkey.

Surely there is some recourse in EU Budgets, Grants etc to offset some of this EU Border maintenance expense?

Perhaps France can move some of its weaponry over to help out ....

Can you be referring to the same Turkey that is currently chair of the UN Security Council?

That is why French car companies are still owned by the French and the British car industry being so good has been bought up by non-British companies .

Also if was french missiles that sank a couple of Britsh war ships in the Malvines War.

We have some of the same type near the UK SBAs. Maybe we should use them as well because they are about to expire!

Turkey chairs for one month. The other non-permanent members currently on the security council are Libya and Burkinna Faso.

If the aim was what you are stating above the arms would be different-much more different- A chief of National Guard left Cyprus several years ago just because of the kind of arms ROC is buying.
ROC seems to have a clear picture of its capabilities and therefore the aim here is just in any case, Turks to not just make a walk down to Limassol or Paphos but at least, aa) this to mean some serious life and other costs and secondly and more serious is just for Turks to need much more than the 5 mnts you quoted above.This just to obtain time for some foreign intervasions and particularly giving time to a certain country to became angry enough and show what real navy means (Turks need some lessons in this regard) as well as Turks to be asked to give some proficiency examinations in their air forces!!!!
