That is history now , Cyprus is an independent nation on its own and its high time it faced realities that the Greek anthem , what started this argument , has no place in Cyprus , after all we are promoting continually Cyprus as the homeland of G/Cs as well as T/Cs , Armenians and others. Lets have some action and do as we preach , ditch this anachronism of an anthem and replace it with our own Cypriot one. How on earth do we expect the T/Cs to embrace the Greek anthem for crying out loud , have we no logic ?

The only people who ever wanted Cyprus to have Enosis with Greece are Cypriots.

So stop accusing Greeks for something which is of our own (GC) making ... Of course it's the democratic right of those who wished it. But I don't know any GC who harps on about Enosis or beats up Greeks about it except Miltiades.

99.9% of GCs have a healthy love of our fellow EU ally and sister country.

Milti, the fact that by luck or otherwise you got a plane and you are are staying in Ldn,does not give you the right to consider many other people's positions as sht. As I am sure you understand, is not only Epsilon or two three persons in this forum who are considering themselves as Greeks of Cyprus.
There are thousands of such people outside in Cyprus and beilieve me, we are not all supporters either of Junta or Enosis or other theories you consider we support.The invasion and what junta and others did affected also us but we decided to not allow neither Turks or their second hand in our side to change also our Ethnicity. Basis they got all other things from us is the only thing which we can still keep and we decided to do so. We consider this as our right and, of course, we will not ask either Turks or you.

You are free to try to convince all Cypriots to change their anthem, drop the Greek adjective, change their language, culture, religion, anything you like. But you do NOT have the right to offend someone else's country to achieve your goals. I've read countless posts of yours attacking not only Greece as a state but the Greek people as well. Alexis, just be certain that the vast majority of Cypriots DO NOT hold this idiots views.

The vast majority of Cypriots are very proud of their GREEK Cypriot heritage and there is no way most of us will abandon our language, or culture. As for the religion bit, well I for one have dropped that, but each to their own I guess. I'm certain that the majority of other GREEK Cypriots won't drop their religion either.
