Το κατάλαβες ρε κρασοπατέρα ή να στο κάνω ετικέτα σε κρασομπούκαλο μπας και φιλοτιμηθείς να το διαβάσεις; Αν ξαναπροσβάλεις την πατρίδα μου γράφοντας τις αρχιδιές σου με τα σιχάμερα βρωμονυχιασμένα γεροντοδάχτυλά σου θα σου χώσω μια μάνικα βενζινάδικου στην γεροντοκωλάρα σου και θα σου τρομπάρω κρασί μέχρι να σου βγει από τ'αυτιά!

The only people who ever wanted Cyprus to have Enosis with Greece are Cypriots.

So stop accusing Greeks for something which is of our own (GC) making ... Of course it's the democratic right of those who wished it. But I don't know any GC who harps on about Enosis or beats up Greeks about it except Miltiades.

99.9% of GCs have a healthy love of our fellow EU ally and sister country.

And Miltiades, your language be it English or Greek is a disgrace to our nation .... so confine yourself to being a Chavvy Brit.

The Junta were not after Enosis .... they did not dissolve the Republic but replaced the President with a Puppet ... much like the USA has done before in other countries!

Deniz, the Junta had no intention of uniting Cyprus with Greece. In fact, they even considered Turkey an ally because, as a puppet of the US, the Junta's only interest was to "fight" communism. Turkey was ok, Cyprus was not. Turkey was not supposed to interfere during the coup, at least that's what the CIA told the Greek generals. That's why Ioannides said "the Americans betrayed me" when Turkey invaded Cyprus

Apparently the Greek coward yellow bellies were exclusively in charge of the Junta way back in 1974.
Once Turkey invaded they dispersed like rats from a burning ship. Could not find anyone to lead them out of the mess they got themselves in and had to call Karamanlis who was by that time retired in France.
