How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Well DEAD WRONG, and it was dumb of you to even try.

And how exactly is Greece's Human Rights' record, relevant to the Cyprus Problem?

Is she occupying Cyprus and abusing its citizens daily?

This "Hellenism" you peddle is in fact a serious Human Rights abuser Oracle... hardly the "motherland" example Cyprus should follow!

I have a simple question for you: do you subscribe to an extreme left wing world-view, such as Communism?

I thought you'd come back with something stupid like that so you'll find on the same link my explanation.

Apart from the fact that we belong to the same Union and they are a vital ally and partner to Cyprus may I also remind everyone that had the Venetians performed better against the Ottomans then we wouldn't have a Cyprus problem now.

.

Wow… you’ve made a connection between the middle ages republic of Venice and modern day Italy? And how do the Lombards fit into your grand scheme?

Maybe I SHOULD read your childish thread…

You've been making connections with a small village of Chirokoitian dwarfs outside Larnaca and the present day Cypriot population for the past 6 months now

Quite the contrary… it’s BECAUSE OF Greece that 37% of Cypriot territory has regressed to Ottoman rule! Where have you been on another planet?

Think of the peace dividend that Greece could reap: if it were not for the existential threat posed by the tourkomogoloi against the Republic of Cyprus, Greece would be able to reduce her ridiculously beefed up military. A not insignificant percentage of Greece's military expenditure is committed to maintaining a deterrent against tourkomogolo aggression against the Republic of Cyprus.

I'll put it to you very bluntly because I sense you're a bit slow... :?

Do you know what the Cypriot “mouchos” means?

Here’s a hint --> Image

Well, that’s the ONLY thing Greeks are good at and unfortunately Turks don’t find it very threatening… :(

If Greece is not your best ally, who is? And let me pre-empt any stupid responses: (1) Cyprus does not need allies, and (2) The EU, are both incorrect.

Err, with allies like these who needs enemies...

I don't peddle Hellenism. No more than any "Hellenism" which is part and parcel of being Greek Cypriot.

No one views Greece as a "motherland" ... but a country we are intricately associated with historically; and presently, through the EU and a common alliance.

I would ask you if you ever looked at the harm your 'peddling' might be doing, but that would mean I thought there was anyone, with any sense, who respected your (current) ideas ...

Do you rely on heavy use of infantile emoticons because you're unable to put together a coherent argument?

I agree, Greece is the reason that 37% of Cyprus is occupied by the tourkomogoloi. Taken another way however, Greece is the reason that 63% of Cyprus is not occupied. Do you honestly think that if it were not for the deterrent presented by Greece, the tourkomogoloi would not have manipulated the tourkomogolo guests on Cyprus to precipitate a crisis and grab the whole island? The coup of 1974 was just one of many possible excuses.

You have no answered my question: if Greece is not Cyprus' best ally, who is?
